Laurel Nokomis School (LNS) is a great school choice! LNS has grades K-8, which makes for a really nice transition into middle school. The middle school at LNS is the smallest middle school in Sarasota County Public Schools, which creates a really nice environment for the middle school years.
The administration at LNS is wonderful and very supportive of creating positive and challenging learning environment. The PTO at LNS is very active, also, with the support of the administration. The PTO at LNS helps to raise funds for school improvement. In recent years, they have purchased band equipment and an electronic school sign. It is easy to be an involved parent at LNS and your involvement is appreciated!
